Chicken Chow Mein
Ingredients:
- °1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- °three tablespoons oil
- °12 oz. chow mein noodles (raw noodles)
- °2 cups cabbage
- °1 massive carrot, julienned
- °half of batch of onions
- °2 cloves garlic
- °Chow Mein Sauce
- °6 tablespoons oyster sauce
- °three tsp low soy sauce
- °three tablespoons mild sesame oil (untoasted)
- °half of cup fowl broth
- °1 tablespoon cornstarch
- °1 tsp granulated sugar
In a small blending bowl, use a whisk to mix the oyster sauce, granulated sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, fowl broth and cornstarch. Put aside.
Cook your noodles in line with bundle guidelines then drain, rinse in bloodless water and set aside.
Heat a massive wok or skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Cut your fowl breasts into bite-sized strips and prepare dinner dinner in oil till golden brown. Remove strips and set aside.
Add the carrots, cabbage and pressed garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes till the greens are barely softened and the cabbage is a piece translucent.
Return the fowl and noodles to the skillet. Pour the sauce over it and continue cooking all of the components collectively for any other 2 minutes.
Top your chow mein with chopped onions and serve the noodles directly from the pan and piping hot!
