  • 120 g suger (for the batter)
  • T honey (for the batter)
  • 300 g flour (for the batter)
  • g baking soda (for the batter)
  • T cinnamon (for the batter)
  • T chocolate powder (for the batter)
  • T cold water (for the batter)
  • 1 egg whites (for the glaze)
  • 200 g powdered sugar (for the glaze)
  • t shortening (for the glaze)
  • T lemon juice (for the glaze)
  • 3 food colour of choice (for the glaze)

Instructions:

Melt the sugar, honey and butter on medium temperature. Mix the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and chocolate in a different bowl and then add them to the wet ingredients.

Make the dough by adding the water. Put the dough into a stretchable foil and leave in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Roll the dough out to 4 mm thick and make the snowflakes with a mold. You can also make circles and then imprint the snowflake design into them. Put them on baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Mix the glaze with a fork. Place them in a piping bag and place the round ending on the top. Decorate the snowflakes and leave the glaze to set at room temperature. While the glaze is still fresh, you can decorate the snowflakes with coconut, different jellybeans, sugar, pearls, etc. You can color the glaze a different color and for that it is best to use a gel color.

These cookies can be used as Christmas tree decorations as well, all you need to do is to make a hole on the top of the cookie before baking that will be used for hanging it onto the tree with ribbon or string.
