White bean soup, add cooked pork to it. A hearty and comforting meal, perfect for winter.
Ingredients
- ° 1 bag (1 pound) dry white beans
- ° 6 cups of water
- ° 1 can (398 ml) chopped tomatoes
- ° 1 chopped onion
- ° 2 stalks chopped celery
- ° 1 clove minced garlic
- ° 1/2 pound cooked pork, cut into cubes
- ° 1 cube chicken broth
- ° 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ° 1 c. 1 tablespoon of dried parsley
- ° 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- ° 1 bay leaf
- ° 1 c. salt
- ° 1/2 tsp. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ° 3 cups of water
Preparation steps:

In a large saucepan, combine beans, 6 cups water, diced tomatoes, onion, celery, garlic, ham, broth cube, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, garlic powder and bay leaf; Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until beans are tender, about 2 hours.
After 2 hours of cooking, add another 3 cups of water (or as needed, depending on desired consistency), salt, and pepper. Simmer another 2 hours. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
