Doggy Birthday Cake

Ingredients:
- – 1 cup whole wheat flour
- – 1 teaspoon baking soda
- – 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- – 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
- – 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- – 1/4 cup honey
- – 1 egg
- – 1 cup shredded carrots
- – Cream cheese (for frosting)
- – Dog-friendly treats (for decoration)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small cake pan.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour and baking soda.
3. In another bowl, mix the applesauce, peanut butter, vegetable oil, honey, and egg until well combined.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the shredded carrots to the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting with cream cheese.
