But there are chemicals commonly added to foods we eat that do nothing for us\u2026 and may cause us harm in the long run.<\/p>\n<p>After looking through the first list of \u201cpoisons\u201d in your food, the broader message seems clear:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eatdrinkbetter.com\/2010\/09\/27\/raw-foods-for-longevity-and-health-walnut-pate-recipe\/\">fresh, minimally processed foods<\/a>\u00a0are almost always the best choice for overall health. \u00a0Greens from your garden, tomatoes from the farmers\u2019 market, or even meat from a ranch that avoids\u00a0processed feeds will always be better for you than many of the manufactured foodstuffs we find in the grocery store.<\/p>\n<div class=\"adace-slot-wrapper adace-after-paragraph \">\n<div class=\"adace-slot\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Know of other compounds commonly added to our food that are dangerous?
