However, if we&#8217;re being honest, they can be a tad time-consuming to prepare. Peppers require a fair amount of time in the oven, there&#8217;s the preparation of the filling, and then the process of stuffing and baking them.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pound ground beef<\/li>\n<li>2 bell peppers, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 (15 oz) can low sodium beef broth<\/li>\n<li>1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>1 cup uncooked long grain white rice<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon black pepper<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n<p>In a large skillet cook the ground beef, breaking apart. Once it is mostly cooked add in the onions and bell peppers and cook for 5-10 minutes until they start to soften.<\/p>\n<p>Add the garlic to the beef mixture and cook for a minute or two, just until you can start to smell it.<\/p>\n<p>Sit in the rest of the ingredients, except the cheese, and bring the mixture to a boil.<\/p>\n<p>Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring half way through.<\/p>\n<p>Once the rice is tender, stir in about 1\/2 of the cheese until it is melted and incorporated with the beef and rice.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top, put the lid back on the pan and let the cheese melt.
