They like other people\u2019s.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A grandfather is a man and a grandmother is a lady!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Grandparents don\u2019t have to do anything except be there when we come to see them.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They are so old they shouldn\u2019t play hard or run.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They show us and talk to us about the color of the flowers and also why we shouldn\u2019t step on \u201ccracks.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They don\u2019t say, \u201cHurry up.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They wear glasses and funny underwear.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They can take their teeth and gums out.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Grandparents don\u2019t have to be smart.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They have to answer questions like \u201cWhy isn\u2019t God married?\u201d and \u201cHow come dogs chase cats?\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>When they read to us, they don\u2019t skip.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They don\u2019t mind if we ask for the same story over again.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don\u2019t have television, because they are the only grown ups who like to spend time with us.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>They know we should have snack-time before bedtime and they say prayers with us every time and kiss us even when we\u2019ve acted bad.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-27448 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/An-8-year-old-was-given--683x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"456\" height=\"684\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/An-8-year-old-was-given--683x1024.png 683w, https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/An-8-year-old-was-given--768x1152.png 768w, https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/An-8-year-old-was-given-.png 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 456px) 100vw, 456px\" \/><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An 8 year old was given a homework assignment to write a paper about grandparents.
