Then what was all that about?!?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Then she uttered the words that every husband on the planet dreads to hear\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re just not in touch enough with my emotional needs as a woman, for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She saw my puzzled look and said, \u201cCan\u2019t you just love me for who I am and not for what I do in the bedroom?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>The very next day I decided to take the day off work to spend time with her.\u00a0We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store.<\/p>\n<p>I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits.\u00a0She couldn\u2019t decide which one to take so I told her \u201cwe\u2019ll just buy them all\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit.<\/p>\n<p>We went to the jewellery department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.<\/p>\n<p>Let me tell you, she was so excited.\u00a0She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck.<\/p>\n<p>I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn\u2019t even know how to play tennis.\u00a0I think I threw her for a loop when I said, \u201cThat\u2019s fine, honey.\u201dShe was almost nearing ecstatic satisfaction from all of the excitement.<\/p>\n<p>Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, \u201cI think this is all dear, let\u2019s go to the cashier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, \u201cNo honey, I don\u2019t feel like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled \u201cWHAT??!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then I said, \u201cReally, honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while.
