I still had some of the cream cheese mixture and cherry pie filling left over and I really didn\u2019t want to throw it away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls<\/li>\n<li>flour, just for dusting<\/li>\n<li>Filling<\/li>\n<li>4 ounces of soft cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>\u2153 cup of sugar<\/li>\n<li>vanilla splash<\/li>\n<li>1 box of cherry pie filling<\/li>\n<li>Icing<\/li>\n<li>\u2153 cup powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons of milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open the roll container and do not unroll the rolls. Use a sharp, serrated knife to cut them like cookie slices. Make 10 slices.<\/p>\n<p>Place each slice on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.<\/p>\n<p>Use a measuring cup to flatten each roll and build a small wall around it.<\/p>\n<p>Use a drop of flour to keep it from sticking and press with your fingertips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Electrically mix the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Pour a small amount into each \u201cDanish\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Add a teaspoon of cherries.<\/p>\n<p>Bake in the oven at 350 for 18-20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Allow to cool and add a drizzle of icing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Icing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix the milk and sugar and sprinkle over the Danishes.
