This can also be chopped in half. When I make half of the recipe, I use one can of cream of mushroom soup. You can simply omit the onion entirely. It merely adds a hint of taste, but it\u2019s still delicious without it.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"su-list\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>2 cups water<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>2 cups wild rice, cooked as package directs<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>2 \u00bd- 3 cups rotisserie chicken<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>\u00bc cup butter<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>1 cup 2% milk<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>2 cups broccoli, chopped<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>1 small white onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-circle-o-notch\"><\/i>16 oz. cheddar cheese, grated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"instructions\">Instructions:<\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-list\">\n<p><i class=\"sui sui-heart\"><\/i>Preheat oven to 350F.<\/p>\n<p><i class=\"sui sui-heart\"><\/i>Use water to cook your rice according to package directions.<\/p>\n<p><i class=\"sui sui-heart\"><\/i>In a 9\u2033x13\u2033 baking dish, mix the prepared rice, chicken, and cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, butter, milk, broccoli, onion, and approximately 12 oz. of cheddar cheese.<\/p>\n<p><i class=\"sui sui-heart\"><\/i>Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, and stir to help cheese melt evenly.<\/p>\n<p><i class=\"sui sui-heart\"><\/i>Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a great variation on the classic broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole, and it\u2019s quite simple to make.
