The skins can now be easily peeled off the beets.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Instant pot \/ steamed beets method<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Wash beets and trim off the root part and the leafy and top part.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0Instant Pot, add\u00a0<strong>1 cup water<\/strong>. Place beets into\u00a0a steamer basket\u00a0and inside the Instant Pot. If you don\u2019t have a basket yet, add trivet and place beet on top.<\/p>\n<p>Close the lid, turn pressure valve to Sealing and cook on<br \/>\nHigh Pressure for 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Let the pot\u00a0release pressure naturally for 10 minutes, and then release<br \/>\nall remaining pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Allow the cooked beets to\u00a0cool\u00a0before trying to peel, but once<br \/>\nthey\u2019re cool the peel will just slide off.<\/p>\n<h3>Air fryer\/ Roasted Beets<\/h3>\n<p>If the beets still have their leafy tops, cut off the tops close to the tops<br \/>\nof the beet, leaving yourself enough to grip. Save the beet greens for another purpose. Scrub the beets thoroughly, then wrap them loosely in aluminum foil.<\/p>\n<p>Place the wrapped beets to the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 380F .<\/p>\n<p>Air fryer for 30-35 minutes for the perfect texture. Beets are done when a fork or skewer slides easily to the center of the beet. Small beets will cook more quickly than large beets.<\/p>\n<p>Set the beets aside until cool enough to handle.
