{"id":24529,"date":"2022-02-19T08:44:38","date_gmt":"2022-02-19T08:44:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/?p=24529"},"modified":"2022-02-19T08:44:38","modified_gmt":"2022-02-19T08:44:38","slug":"steak-and-shrimp-scampi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrhealthyalternative.com\/?p=24529","title":{"rendered":"STEAK AND SHRIMP SCAMPI"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"63d509947b33dea96ed9a09b2482b63d\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1554417\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n<script>(function(w,q){w[q]=w[q]||[];w[q].push([\"_mgc.load\"])})(window,\"_mgq\");\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<p>STEAK AND SHRIMP SCAMPI<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd lb. linguine<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp minced garlic<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp red pepper flakes<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd lb. jumbo shrimp (or size of your choice), peeled and deveined<\/li>\n<li>\u215b tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>\u215b tsp pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u2153 cup white wine or chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp finely chopped parsley, plus more for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add linguine to an outsized pot of salted boiling water and let cook until hard , about 7 minutes. Drain well.<\/p>\n<p>While pasta is cooking, add butter and vegetable oil to an outsized skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for one minute.<\/p>\n<p>Add shrimp, salt, and pepper to pan and cook, stirring frequently, until shrimp are cooked through and pink, about 5 minutes. Remove shrimp to a plate and put aside<\/p>\n<p>Stir in wine (or chicken broth) and juice and cook for 1 minute. Remove skillet from heat and stir in parsley. Add linguine and shrimp back to skillet and toss to coat in sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Divide between two plates or bowls and top with sliced steak. Sprinkle on additional chopped parsley.<\/p>\n<p>Garlic Butter Steak<\/p>\n<p>Heat an outsized forged iron pan over high heat and sprinkle steak with salt and pepper.
