margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1554417\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n<script>(function(w,q){w[q]=w[q]||[];w[q].push([\"_mgc.load\"])})(window,\"_mgq\");\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<p>How to make Garlic Basil Scalloped Potatoes<\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2013 1\u00bd cups half and half<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 3 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed with the back of a knife<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 1 bay leaf<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 1 pound russet potatoes, peeled and sliced very thin (use a mandolin slicer if you\u2019ve got one)<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil, chopped<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u2013 7 ounces Sincerely, Brigitte\u2122 garlic basil cheese, grated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>INSTRUCTIONS<\/h2>\n<p>Over medium heat, heat the half and half, garlic, and bay leaf in a medium pot. add a pinch of salt and pepper, lower the heat to low, and let the pot simmer for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Use a slotted spoon to remove the bay leaf and garlic cloves.<\/p>\n<p>Spray an 8\u00d78-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.<\/p>\n<p>Pour about \u00bc cup of the cream into the bottom of the dish. next, put down a layer of potato slices (slightly overlapping), then about 2 tablespoons of chopped basil.<\/p>\n<p>Top the basil with about 2 tablespoons of the grated cheese, and sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper over everything.<\/p>\n<p>Repeat this layering process\u2013cream, potatoes, basil, cheese, salt, and pepper\u2013at least two more times, until you have used up all of the potatoes. you should be left with at least a couple tablespoons of cheese, which you should save for broiling later.<\/p>\n<p>Put the baking dish into the oven and bake it for 35-40 minutes, until the potatoes are completely cooked through and the top is golden.<\/p>\n<p>Put the rest of your cheese over the top, then put the dish under the broiler for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and brown.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately with more fresh basil over the top.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px;
