The Cholesterol Scam
For many years, from all sides we have been bombed with informations that cholesterol causes hard to repair damages to our body. According to that if we want to stay alive and healthy, we need to drastically reduce the intake of animal fat, such as milk, butter, cheese, cream and other dairy products. But is this really so? Apparently not, because more and more doctors and scientists claim that this is a mistake of mythological proportions. At the begining lets mention the so far biggest study ever carried out by the World Health Organization, thats their MONICA project (Multinacional Monitoring of Trends and Determinants in Cardiovascular Disease – a multinational monitoring key factor for cardiovascular diseases). This study, among the others, had the mission to investigate the link between cholesterol levels and cardiovascular diseases. That connection was never established, although the research was done for more than 10 years in 21 countries around the world, to the largest possible sample ever, on 10 million women and men. Even though the results of this long-term and extremely costly research were perfectly clear, at the speed of lightning it got swept under the carpet, because – you guessed it – it was not in line with what the World Health Organization expected to get as a result. That leaves us to conclude that the truth has been know for a long time now, but is been concealed for the benefit of other, apparently much more cost-effective ‘truth’. Just like the truth of that time, before more than 20 years, cholesterol-lowering drugs have already been in use, and so it should remain. Since cholesterol is unfairly declared the main cause of heart and blood vessels diseases, the medical professionals began to recommend that animal fats should be removed from our diet, and instead of those they began recommending industrially processed vegetable oils. Butter was replaced by the popular margarine, and even today it is widely advised that the consumption of foods such as cheese and cream should be reduced to a minimum.
The real cause of heart diseases isn`t cholesterol
Already mentioned above, the results of the WHO-MONICA study’s inability to link cholesterol with cardiovascular disease, is confirmed by Dr. Dwight Lundell, a prominent heart surgeon who has over 25 years performed more than 5,000 surgeries. Relying on scientific research conducted in the last few years, as well as his rich personal experience, Dr. Lundell claims that the main cause of heart diseases and blood vessel inflammations that occur in the arteries is as a result of eating too little saturated fat. In other words, what really causes great damage to our blood vessels are vegetable oils with a large proportion of omega-6 fatty acids, such as sunflower, soybean and corn, as well as excessive consumption of products with a large proportion of flour and sugar . Because, as Dr. Lundell says, official medicine has made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fats and instead use polyunsaturated oils. These, long-established dietary recommendations have led to an epidemic of obesity and diabetes, who by moratality rate, human suffering and material cost, surpassed every other plague in human history. Although atherosclerotic plaque (fatty deposits in the connective artery wall), contains a very small amount of cholesterol, and despite the fact that these deposits mainly consist of polyunsaturated fat, the propaganda machine has successfully completed her task. Most people nowadays blindly follow the officially recommended diet that is low in saturated fat and rich in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing that just such a diet is very damaging to our blood vessels. You shoulnt be suprised by this ignorance, if we take into account that the society we live in, primarily driven by a desire for lucrative profits. It is sad but true, to the drug industry a healthy man is the most unprofitable, and statins, drugs that lower cholesterol, are one of the best selling in the world. According to that it is not difficult to see the relationship between the food and drug industry. The production of “healthy food”, which ultimately makes people ill, it is perfectly viable for both.
The real role of cholesterol
Walter Hartenbach, the author of “Cholesterol Lie”, published with an awareness of our true nature and its role of cholesterol in the body. He explains that cholesterol, which we are all so afraid of, representing it as a horrible substances that causes our body an enormous damage, in fact the basic building material of cell membranes of tissues, necessary for the normal funcion of the body. Therefore, we would indeed finaly be the time to declare the myth of cholesterol what it realy is – one of the biggest misconceptions of our time, and we should finally align our eating habits with common sense. If we want to truly be healthy, we must return to a traditional diet, based on the intake of saturated fat. Saturated fats strengthen the immune system and prevent the occurrence of many diseases. Their fatty acids are naturally antifungal, antiviral and antimicrobial. They help prevent osteoporosis, they feed the, and ensure the proper functioning of the nervous and hormonal system. In addition to all of the above, it reliably lowers the risk of heart disease and blood vessels. A diet high in natural fats is certainly not injurious to health. On the contrary, such a diet is extremely healthy and highly beneficial. In any case, reducing the intake of carbohydrates and increasing the intake of natural oils such as those from domestic milk, cheese, butter and coconut oil in the long run will protect you from numerous diseases and doctors visits
